I'm interested in the influence of transient and accumulated emotional distress on resting state brain activity, which has been associated with rumination, a risk factor of depression. With a task-rest interaction paradigm, I'm currently using simultaneous EEG-fMRI to investigate the non-stationary dynamics of resting state functional connectivity, on a group of genotyped healthy subjects selected from the project 'Emotional Endophenotype'.
